ARRESTED! [TRUE CRIME] - Ep. 13 - The Delphi Murders & an ARREST | Beach House 34 True Crime

On February 13, 2017, two friends, ages 13 and 14, were dropped off near a nature reserve in Delphi, Indiana. Parents were coming to pick them up later that afternoon.
 
Their bodies were found the next day, near a creek embankment, and for over 5 years, there were no arrests and barely any suspects...until now, and he was far closer than anyone thought.
 
This is the story of Abby Williamson and Libby German, also known as the Delphi Murders.
 
 

WHERE ARE THEY? [TRUE CRIME ] - Ep. 12 - The Springfield Three - What Happened to Them?

First and foremost, I want to preface this by saying that when I started to investigate the case of The Springfield Three, I had no idea what I was getting into. As you know, I do my best to give you an episode a week, but that is not nearly enough time to delve into all of the intricate details about this case.
 
That being said, what you’ll learn here today are details from local Springfield newspapers at the time of the crime up to and including this year, 2022. I’ve included as much as I could find without it being completely overwhelming, but just know that for every piece of information available, there were countless others just waiting in the wings to get added. The whole case is like a multi-layered Rubix cube; when you turn one corner, something else changes.
 
Others have covered this case incredibly well, and one, in particular, is a woman who grew up in the area at the time the crime occurred. I’ll have her information available for you at the end of this podcast if you want to hear more. It’s a fascinating case full of “whodunnits,” and just when you want to point the finger at someone, someone else pops up.
 
I sincerely hope that, for the sake of the families, that one day, this will be solved. It’s been a long 30 years.
 
With that said, let’s get to the case of The Springfield Three.
 
 

[PARANORMAL] - Ep. 10 - The Amityville Horror Part 1 - A Halloween Special Podcast - Beach House 34

This episode is about The Amityville Horror. First came the book which became a best-seller, next came the movie, which is what most people are familiar with. The movie debuted in 1979 and shattered box office records not to mention scaring millions of people.
 
To date, it remains one of the scariest movies ever made, not because it was just a scary horror movie but because it was based on incidents that really occurred to a family over a 28-day period.
Along with the film's success came skeptics who believe the entire thing was made up to make money.
 
Part of the reason some people believe the story is made up is that the book and the movie both took quite a bit of creative license; in other words, what happened to the family was quite real, but how it was portrayed in the book and the movie was…shall we say…made more for entertainment purposes rather than telling the truth.
 
The truth was scary enough; there was no reason to elaborate on it.
 
What isn’t in factual dispute, however, is that a man who lived in the home before it became known as the Amityville house, Ron DeFeo, did kill his entire family and was sentenced to 6 sentences of 25-years to life at the Sullivan Correctional Facility in upstate Fallsburg New York. He died in prison in 2021 at the age of 69.

In 2013, a terrifying movie made its debut. The movie was called “The Conjuring,” It tells the story of a family of seven, including mom, dad, and their five daughters, who moved to the house of their dreams in 1971 in Rhode Island, only to be terrorized by multiple spirits inhabiting the home.
 
What you will hear today are several, but not all, of the incidents that occurred inside the home while the Perrons resided there, as well as what has occurred to various paranormal teams who have investigated the home since the Perrons moved out in 1980.
